Source and image licenses

Reviewed 2026-09-02. Approval applies only to the stated source, material and use. A subscription, API key, citation or publicly accessible URL does not approve reuse.

Public automated property research, AI/web analysis and listing-photo extraction are paused. Administrator-only RentCast property records have a separate limited internal-use scope. Original records and image references remain available for private evidence review. Unapproved images are never loaded in reports. Manual entries must contain only facts and material you may lawfully use and share.

Administrator-only RentCast property records

Reviewed 2026-09-03. Limited to the configured administrator’s authenticated account; no public API access.

Section 1 permits internal research, analytics and storage. Sections 2, 3.3, 6 and 7 restrictions remain applicable. This scope does not clear account-specific overrides, restricted third-party material, public distribution, client exports, photos or AI processing.

Standard API license

Provider charges, site usage limits and the administrator’s research pause switch still apply. A narrower grant does not approve any of the public-use capabilities listed below.

Approval requirements

Keep the signed agreement or applicable public grant, account and dataset scope, exact image provenance, permitted users and uses, attribution, limits, expiration and deletion rules. Each required use must be expressly approved before automation is enabled. An expired, missing or pending approval fails closed. Provider confirmations must come from someone authorized to grant those rights.

Saved evidence

Sale verification is separate from copyright and contract rights. Private evidence backups retain original URLs, sources and notes and are not client distribution licenses. No existing reports are deleted or rewritten by this review. Any later deletion obligation requires a documented review of the applicable grant and retention duties.
